8340 Food & Nutrition Svcs-KHMCThe purpose of the Food & Nutrition Services Program Coordinator position is to assist the Director in budgeting, planning, scheduling and managing Kaweah Health Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) Programs. The Coordinator will work closely with Kaweah Health stakeholders, FNS Team members, and all other departments, contractors and vendors to ensure the successful execution of the FNS programs for Kaweah Health.QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Preferred: Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare or Business Field
Experience:
Required: Two years experience in Food and Nutrition Services department or other related healthcare department
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Advanced levels of computer skills, including Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, Agilysys or other Point of Sale (POS) systems used within Kaweah. Able to maintain department’s POS database, currently Agilysys.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential
Compiles, analyzes Performance Improvement and other data for Food & Nutrition Services and reporting for the Director, as assigned. This includes auditing this data and creating presentations and reports that measure quality in the department.
Assists in the preparation of vendor contracts, purchase orders and other financial documents. Codes invoices on a daily basis for submission for payment.
Conducts daily attendance monitoring in the department and prepares discipline reports. Tracks all disciplines and maintains employee files with the strictest confidentiality. Updates the timekeeping system to ensure timecards are accurate. Assists in the preparation of schedules. Interprets HR policies and procedures within the preparation of employee discipline documents.
Develops data input for software systems in the department. This includes invoice coding and tracking, and maintains department databases for floor stock, tray tracking, retail data comparison, and other departmental statistics and end-of-month budget and productivity reports.
Assists with in-service training, development and grading of tests, including adding in-services on e-learning platform. Provides training on the computer for staff to complete online competency. Maintains personnel records of the staff's education competency.
Maintains communication boards.
Manages department calendars for Director. Schedules meetings and meeting locations. Takes minutes and distributes as is appropriate.
Works within the management team to complete special projects, that require analysis and research.

Pay Range
