Hydration Cart Driver – Job Description

• Pay Rate $17.00 hour
• Full-time and part-time Seasonal positions available
• Day/Evening shifts available
• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
• Location: American Airlines PHX - AVN

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our aviation services team!

In the aviation industry, safety is paramount, and hydration plays a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and efficiency of all personnel on board. The Hydration Cart Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently operating the hydration cart when delivering  water, Gatorade, and other cold beverages to the personnel working outdoors. 

Responsibilities 

• Operate a hydration cart safely and efficiently within the airport ramp area

• Deliver and restock beverages on a regular schedule 

• Maintain cleanliness of hydration equipment

• Communicate supply needs and operational issues promptly

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

• Must be able attend and pass the airport ramp driving course

• Minimum of three years experience in customer service and/or as a supervisor (aviation preferred)

• Communicate effectively in English

• Must know or learn how to operate two-way radio to communicate with clients or team

• Must be willing to work various shifts, weekends, or irregular shifts

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
