Role Overview

The Director, Supply Planning IT serves as the senior IT leader responsible for enabling and transforming global supply planning capabilities across Analog Devices. Reporting to the Senior Director of Supply Chain and Manufacturing IT, driving technology strategy, system delivery, and continuous optimization across demand-supply balancing, constrained planning, scenario simulation, and inventory optimization.

This leader will work closely with Supply Chain Planning leadership, GO&T IT peers, and enterprise platform teams to deliver resilient, scalable, and data-driven planning solutions that support ADI’s global semiconductor manufacturing and supply network.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Planning IT Strategy & Execution

  • Translate supply planning business strategy into scalable system architectures, roadmaps, and investment plans.
  • Serve as the primary IT point of contact for Supply Planning leadership, ensuring strong partnership and outcome-based delivery.

Planning Platforms & Solutions

  • Lead the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing optimization of advanced planning platforms (Blue Yonder/JDA) supporting supply, capacity, and inventory planning.
  • Lead the implementation of Demand planning solution (consensus forecast) on Blue Yonder/JDA Cognitive platform.
  • Ensure tight integration between planning systems and upstream/downstream platforms (ERP, manufacturing execution, procurement, analytics).
  • Enable advanced planning capabilities such as what-if simulations, constraint-based planning, scenario analysis, and multi-echelon inventory optimization.

Program & Delivery Leadership

  • Lead supply planning IT teams across the globe delivering large-scale, global system implementations and enhancements.
  • Establish strong governance, prioritization, and delivery disciplines across the supply planning IT portfolio.
  • Develop internal capabilities across planning systems, integration, analytics, and semiconductor supply chain processes.
  • Proactively manage operational, technical, and vendor-related risks within the planning landscape.
  • Partner with data, analytics, and platform teams to improve planning data quality, transparency, and usability.
  • Drive automation and process innovation to reduce manual effort and improve planning responsiveness and resilience.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 12+ years of IT experience, with significant leadership responsibility supporting supply chain or planning functions in semiconductor or complex manufacturing environments.
  • Deep expertise in supply planning systems (Blue Yonder/JDA), including architecture, integration, and optimization.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor supply chains, including capacity constraints, cycle times, and global manufacturing networks.
  • Proven experience leading and delivering large, cross-functional, global programs with measurable business impact.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required;

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $202,400 to $278,300.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.

  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
