ELS is hiring for the position of Data Entry and Quality Control Specialist-1 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
About the Role
Datacomp is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our Data Entry & Quality Assurance (DE/QA) team. This role is full-time (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday) and offers the chance to gain deep insight into a unique segment of the real estate industry.
What You’ll Do
As part of our DE/QA team, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our appraisal operations:
Review inspection reports, photos, and documentation submitted by our nationwide network of over 550 field inspectors
Accurately enter data into our appraisal software system
Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and completeness
Communicate with inspectors via phone and email to clarify or verify information
Use tools like Google Maps and online real estate listings to validate property details
Collaborate with our in-house appraisal team to ensure timely and accurate report completion
This role requires attention to detail, critical thinking, and a bit of investigative work—sometimes you’ll need to piece together incomplete information or interpret handwritten notes

Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset
Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and industry concepts
Proven reliability, punctuality, and consistent attendance
Ability to work a full-time schedule (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday)
