Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

In an outpatient setting, remains accountable for provision of direct care to assigned patients. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system. Works as a team member and assists other staff members with implementing patient care. Assumes responsibility of care for assigned patients under the direction of the co-assigned RN or MD. Participates in the plan of care, implements appropriate nursing interventions, and contributes to patient/family education through collection of data, interdisciplinary team collaboration, documentation and excellent communication.

FT position available, D/E/, 8-hour shifts, No nights/weekends/holidays.

Join a fast paced, fun, small team that provides excellent care to patients seeking surgical services!  The Strong Surgical Center 2nd Floor cares for a wide variety of patients. Using a multidisciplinary approach, both pediatric and adult patients are cared for on this unit. Excellent communication, interpersonal and prioritization skills required. The ideal candidate for this position will have 6 months or more of LPN experience, excellent customer service skills, and be able to organize multiple tasks. Basic computer skills are required.
