Day - 08 Hour (United States of America)The Supervisor of Clinic Operations– Pre-Anesthesia Clinic (SHC & East Bay) provides on-site operational leadership and direct supervision of Patient Care Coordinators (PCCs), schedulers, and temporary staff across multiple locations. This role oversees daily workflow, staffing coordination, and patient access operations to ensure efficient clinic performance and adherence to Stanford Health Care policies and C-I-CARE standards. The supervisor partners closely with providers, the assistant patient care manager, and clinic leadership to support seamless patient flow and high-quality patient experience.

A Brief Overview
Responsible for managing clinical and/or support staff in designated area of practice and working closely with physicians and mid-level providers to ensure operations run smoothly, policies and procedures are adhered to, and an excellent patient experience is consistently delivered.
Distinguishing Characteristics:
May be assigned to one or more areas of a practice such as the front office, back office, scheduling, or float pool. The incumbent coordinates, leads and directs the day-to-day activities of individuals or a group of individuals. Leading & directing is usually restricted to assigning, monitoring, and reviewing progress and accuracy of work (and/or providing guidance on more complex issues). Has authority for personnel actions typically associated with full supervisory status (e.g., hiring, performance reviews, disciplinary actions). Performs many of the same duties as subordinate employees.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $43.77 - $56.90 per hourThe salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
