The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

Dermatology is seeking a full-time RN to support a growing fast-paced practice. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to providing proficient nursing care in the ambulatory clinic, preparing surgical trays, surgical assisting for Mohs procedures and excisions, performing wound checks, assisting providers throughout procedures with injections, administering medications within RN scope such as Versed, telephone triage, patient education, care coordination and navigation of our patient needs, and participation in quality improvement activities across all UR Medicine Dermatology practice locations. Needs to work well in a multidisciplinary team to provide quality care for complex dermatologic patients as well as flexibility with travel to multiple sites. 2 years of clinical experience required. Prior experience with pediatric populations is preferred.
