Compensation Range:

$77,216.00 - $115,824.00

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

Acts as the primary driver in the planning, developing, implementation and evaluation of executive recruitment strategies and activities to support the leadership recruitment needs of divisions across the University of Rochester.

Forms, provides guidance and influences executive search committees, acting as the facilitator of executive and senior level talent acquisition, with a strong focus on development of representative candidate pools. Facilitates a best in class candidate experience that competitively positions the University and fosters equitable practices related to recruitment and selection at the executive level. Advises executive search committee participants and leaders on HR policies, procedures as well as state and federal regulations related to recruitment and hiring.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Establishes strong working relationships with executive search committees and leaders across the University, including delivery of search progress and outcomes in meetings with key senior leaders, offering strategic guidance and support.
  • Utilizes expert level sourcing strategies, including building and maintaining relevant candidate networks, to establish a consistent pipeline of executive-level talent.
  • Develops a working knowledge of all executive and senior-level roles, staying current on transitions, strategic direction, and other organizational changes, to offer guidance to candidates in network on where skills and experience are best aligned with opportunities.
  • Creates a best-in-class candidate experience, working to ensure equity and competitive positioning for the University of Rochester through consistent and high-caliber engagement.
  • Facilitates the executive and senior leadership job offer process, including delivery and negotiation of pay and benefits. Coordinates with executive search committee and other Human Resource departments to ensure a seamless transition from offer to onboarding.
  • Works in partnership with Talent Acquisition leadership, executive search committee and central marketing to develop marketing collateral for executive searches.
  • Provides direct consultation to candidates in support of the recruitment process, navigating the University, explaining the benefit structure, and the Greater Rochester area.
  • Maintains knowledge of Human Resource trends, best practices, regulatory changes, recruitment strategies, and employment law. Applies knowledge to communicate necessary changes in policy, practice, and resources to search committees.


MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of direct recruitment experience, including 3 years in executive recruitment, required (or equivalent combination of education and recruiting experience)
  • Demonstration of proven success in progressive talent acquisition roles required
