What You’ll Be Doing

  • Direct procurement and purchasing operations and strategy to meet organizational requirements for quality, availability, volume, and pricing.

  • Evaluate, develop, and manage strategic supplier relationships to optimize cost, performance, and reliability.

  • Lead contract negotiations and oversee contract management and administration.

  • Implement systems and processes to monitor supplier performance, assess risk, and respond to changes in demand or supply chain disruptions.

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define current and future inventory requirements and manage inventory levels.

  • Design and enhance procurement processes, policies, and systems to improve efficiency, responsiveness, and scalability.

  • Utilize ERP systems, data, and analytical tools to evaluate procurement performance and support informed decision-making.

  • Establish auditing and control processes to ensure procurement activities and recordkeeping comply with applicable industry and governmental regulations.

  • Develop functional strategies, objectives, budgets, policies, and procedures to support the procurement function.

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and oversight to procurement staff, including staffing, performance management, and development.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.

  • Progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.

  • At least 5 years of people management experience.

  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation.

Preferred

  • Advanced degree (MBA or related field).

  • Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or CPM.

  • Experience implementing or optimizing procurement systems and ERP platforms.

Working Conditions & Additional Information
