$52,184.00 - $73,053.00The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
The Music Therapist 2 on the Adult Acute Inpatient Services, is a member of the Interdisciplinary treatment team, and provides direct clinical services to patients 18 years of age and older. The Music Therapist 2 follows AMTA standards, while providing evidence-based programming that is strength-based and patient centered for the purpose of crisis intervention, skill building, and stabilization. The Music Therapist 2 will provide therapeutic groups and individual sessions aimed at providing a safe space for patients to explore creative ways of managing symptoms, while building healthy coping skills, and increasing socialization, through music, as well as art, writing, journaling, mindfulness, relaxation, physical outlets, and education. The Music Therapist 2 may also provide group therapy that is more psycho-educational and process-oriented in nature.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
