$105,706.00 - $137,426.00The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE:The Department of Pediatric Cardiology/CT Surgery is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead our Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Lab and Pediatric Cardiac Operating Room (OR) teams. This dynamic leadership role requires a strong clinical background in pediatric cardiac care and proven management skills, emphasizing the advancement of patient care. In this position, the Nurse Manager will oversee daily operations and staffing for the pediatric cardiac operating room, which includes registered nurses and surgical technologists, as well as the Pediatric Cath/EP Lab’s nurses, radiation technologists, and cardiovascular technologists. Key responsibilities include ensuring high-quality patient care, managing practice changes, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and developing a diverse and skilled team. The Nurse Manager will collaborate with senior leadership to achieve departmental goals, manage human resource functions, and uphold standards of care in these procedural areas utilizing fluoroscopy, moderate sedation, and anesthesia. A Master’s degree (MSN or related field) is preferred, along with a minimum of 3-5 years of progressive leadership and clinical experience in pediatric cardiology, OR, or critical care, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
