The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

Full-time, Days, M-F 8:00am – 4:30 pm

Pediatric Cardiology has a full-time position available in the Adult Congenital Heart Program. This growing pediatric cardiology subspecialty practice provides patient- and family-centered care for adults with congenital heart disease in the Rochester area and beyond.

The role involves comprehensive patient care management, including telephone triage, communicating results, providing patient education, and offering counseling and support to families and physicians. The Nurse will deliver anticipatory guidance directly to patients, exercising independent judgment with the support of the provider team. The position also includes supporting cardiac exercise testing.

Candidates must possess strong problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills. A minimum of three years of nursing experience is required, with pediatric nursing experience preferred and pediatric cardiac nursing experience highly valued. An active New York State RN license is also required.
