The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

Part-Time (28 hours) position available; mostly days with occasional Saturdays and evening hours per clinic needs.

The Golisano Children’s Hospital Pediatric Mobile Clinic is a pioneering initiative delivering high-quality primary pediatric care throughout the City of Rochester via an innovative 38-foot mobile clinic. The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct, evidence-based nursing care in a dynamic community setting. A strong interest in community partnerships and adapting clinical care to needs of the community is essential. will hold responsibility as the primary site coordinator for the Vaccines for Children program. Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of pediatric nursing experience, with a preference for outpatient or community health backgrounds, along with exceptional clinical judgment, communication skills, flexibility, and a demonstrated commitment to inclusion and cultural humility. Spanish language proficiency is preferred.
