Job Description Summary

C&W Services, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Technician to complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older 

• Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Customer Service Experience 

• 1 yr of similar work experience 

Requirements

• Completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC and other equipment, systems or structures 

• Ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities 

• Responds to spills and other emergency situations, performing tasks necessary  

• Have a working knowledge of drive shafts, bearings, gearing and mechanical belts

• Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions

• Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears or other parts of machinery per work orders.

• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments

• Assists in emergencies as needed 

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
