Job Purpose:

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting in completing the month-end close. This role will reconcile the balance sheet accounts, resolve open items, and prepare and monitor financials in support of the business group's objective.

Job Responsibilities:

● Complete the month-end close for assigned divisions/areas, which includes all general ledger entries.
● Complete month-end account reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts and bank accounts.
● Coordinate the identification and compilation of information to provide accurate and timely reports to management and other appropriate internal organizations.
● Develop, re-engineer, and implement innovative processes to enhance accounting, finance, and managerial reporting, and other accounting service functions.
● Communicate and coordinate with parent companies on accounting and management issues, as required.
● Work with accounts receivable and accounts payable to resolve and implement corrective measures.
● Identify accounting treatments and implements solutions.
● Perform other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Assists in the monthly evaluation of actuals vs budget.

Work Experience:

● 1-3 years of related job experience.

Education:

● Bachelor's Degree Preferred - Accounting

● Master's Degree Preferred
