Job Purpose:
Our Market Development Specialist will be accountable for researching packaging and retail market dynamics including customer needs, prospect lists, and value propositions as well as support the assigned Sales and Account Management teams in driving segment strategies to achieve sales and gross profit growth. This role will also support leaders recommending segment strategies including but not limited to researching verticals and leads, developing and design concepts, executing promotional campaigns, and core supplier compliance.Job Responsibilities:
Market Expansion & AnalysisAdditional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
● 1-3 years marketing or kitting experience, agency experience is strongly preferred.
● Strong graphic and creative skills required.
● Effective analytical skills.
● Some travel may be required.
Work Experience:
● 1-3 years of related job experience.● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.● Ability to work in a team environment.● Ability to work quickly and efficiently.● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.● Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM is preferred.● Must be highly motivated, flexible and deadline driven.● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.● Strong planning and organization skills are required.● Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills are required.● The ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.Education:
