Blue Cross of Idaho is looking for a Registered Dietitian to develop and deliver comprehensive wellness programs under the direction of the leadership team and in collaboration with our customer employer groups.

We're seeking a candidate with:

Experience: 2 years’ relevant experience

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (Two years’ relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)

Licenses/Certifications: Registered Dietitian

Preferred Certification: Certified Diabetes Care Education Specialist certification

In this role, you will be asked to:

  • Assesses member’s basic nutrition and health needs; works with members to develop goals that incorporate dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provides dietary education and support about nutrition questions and promotes healthy eating habits.
  • Speaks to groups, members, and community partners to promote health eating habits and proper nutrition.
  • Maintains outcome data of the member’s visit and progress towards goals.
  • Develops nutritional promotions and other educational materials.
  • Promotes and attends health fairs and other wellbeing events.
  • Provides nutrition education to Medicare Advantage members are part of our Diabetes Prevention Program.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range is $64,893 to $90,850. The position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus (variable depending on company and employee performance).

The pay range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, travel requirements, internal equity, business or organizational needs, and alignment with market data. At Blue Cross of Idaho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for the position. Compensation decisions are dependent on factors and circumstances at the time of offer.
