Summary:
The Shuttle Driver serves as the happy, helpful face of the Drury Plaza Lake Buena Vista hotel to guests utilizing our transportation services. Shuttle Drivers provide exceptional service to all guests by transporting them to their destination in a friendly, safe, efficient, courteous and professional manner. Maintains a high standard of integrity, service and hospitality at all times to promote the Drury culture with guests and team members.
Qualifications:
CDL Driver's License and Passenger endorsement for more than 15 passengers
Must maintain a safe driving record. Must complete a motor vehicle background check on the driver’s personal driving record annually. Violations will be reviewed by Human Resources and determined if the driver is eligible to continue driving based on the violations.
Must be able to read and speak (or otherwise communicate) the English language sufficiently to converse with co-workers, the general public, officials, and other persons associated with hotel transportation and driving a bus.
Requires the ability to relate to the public and team members in a warm, friendly manner.
Requires the ability to pay attention to detail.
Must be willing to and have the ability to work alone as scheduled.
Expected to keep accurate, legible, and complete timesheets and expense reports on a biweekly basis.
Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
Experience in working with the public in a service industry or in related activities is preferred.
Adheres to the hotel's uniform policy as instructed.
