Summary of Position

This position involves supporting the maintenance efforts necessary to ensure a safe, clean, and distraction-free environment at Gateway campuses and their support facilities. It requires familiarity with and training in various commercial construction and building maintenance concepts, practices, and procedures. Applicants should have a minimum of three to five years of occupational experience in areas such as commercial painting, HVAC, electrical work, and plumbing.

A strong emphasis on safety, a highly self-motivated work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team are essential. Candidates must also possess the experience and judgment needed to effectively plan, organize, and complete assigned tasks, projects, and goals in a proficient and thorough manner.

• HVAC Preventative maintenance and repair
• RTU belts check and replace if needed
• Check belts on roof top fans
• Repair small plumbing needs
• Architectural maintenance
• Sheetrock repair
• Painting
• Flooring
• Commercial door repair
• Hanging décor in office space
• Repairing furniture
• Framing walls
• Installing sheet rock
• Power washing
• Scheduling vehicle maintenance
• Installing whiteboards
