Education:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. certification required.

Experience:

Stable work history in areas such as agriculture, production, manufacturing, or maintenance preferred.

• Maintains supply inventory; verifies inventory levels by checking shelves, notifies Plant Purchasing Manager or designee to replacement needs
• Provides orders to Plant Purchasing Manager
• Receives orders and stores supplies in the warehouse or supply room
• Reviews incoming orders for proper coding, quantities requested, inspects and verifies supplies received against invoice and packing slips, initiates vendor corrections to Plant Purchasing Manager as needed
• Locates stock or supply and provides requested items to authorized departments or staff
• Performs clerical duties related to maintaining stocked inventories using computer and software
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, cupboards and workstation neat/clean and complying with plant procedures, rules and regulations
• Follow all plant and food safety rules and procedures
• Wear required PPE while in different parts of the plant

•  Strong organizational and problem solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Basic computer skills utilizing email, Microsoft Word and Excel

• Exposure to chemicals
