What We Are Looking For:
As a Marketing Intern – Homes.com, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting a variety of marketing projects, including but not limited to consumer marketing, brand management, media performance, social media, data analytics, sales enablement and event marketing initiatives. You’ll work closely with senior team members to learn marketing best practices, help execute campaigns, and contribute to the promotion of Homes.com products and services. This internship is designed to provide exposure to real-world marketing operations and foster professional growth.


This position is located in our Richmond, VA office and requires you to be in the office Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns to drive Homes.com exposure to consumers and real estate agents including but not limited to television, direct mail, digital, email, social media, events, and video production.
  • Help with social media content management and creation.
  • Help with event logistics, such as venue and speaker research, swag ideation, and registration tracking.
  • Assist with market research, monitoring industry and marketing trends, and gathering insights on customer behaviors.
  • Review and update internal-facing content portals for accuracy and consistency.
  • Help maintain marketing operations efforts using project management tools like Asana or MS Excel and assist with meeting coordination and recaps.
  • Assist in updating sales collateral, pitch decks, and one-pagers for the sales team.
  • Contribute to strategy and concepting for multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, LinkedIn, paid media, content syndication, etc.).
  • In collaboration with your manager, identify a business challenge and formulate a recommendation plan to present to the marketing team upon completion of your internship.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Media, Communication, or a related discipline, graduating in May 2027.
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Interest in creating presentations and telling stories with data.
  • Organized, deadline-driven, and eager to learn.
  • Customer-first attitude and ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with AI tools. Experience with Sprout Social (or similar platforms) a plus.
