Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, and home to Baystate Medical Center (BMC), is looking for a full-time Rehab Aide to join our Rehabilitation Services team in Springfield, MA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Baystate Health, Rehab Aides play a vital role focused on enhancing patient care by supporting therapists and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Support Patient Care: Assist licensed rehabilitation therapists in delivering high-quality therapy services to patients, helping improve their recovery experience.
Ensure a Safe Environment: Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical space, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
Patient Monitoring: Observe and report patients’ responses during therapy sessions to help inform care decisions and ensure safety.
Operational Excellence: Follow established procedures for equipment usage, schedule management, and time-off requests, while strictly maintaining patient confidentiality.
Front-Line Interaction: Greet and assist patients, visitors, and callers with professionalism and compassion, ensuring a welcoming environment for all.
Charge Reconciliation: Accurately log, process, and reconcile therapy session charges to support billing and department accuracy.
Schedule Coordination: Manage and maintain inpatient appointment schedules to ensure timely and efficient care delivery.
Process Improvement: Proactively suggest improvements to office workflows that enhance productivity, efficiency, or cost-effectiveness.
Team Collaboration: Support the team with additional duties as assigned, contributing to a positive and productive workplace.

The base pay range shown above considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This base pay range does not include our comprehensive benefits package and any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.
