At Servco Auto Kauai, we provide top notch service to our customers. Our Beginner Technicians will service and repair Hawaii’s top selling vehicles, including and performing a variety of bumper to bumper service/repair jobs and receive factory training. 

KEY OUTCOMES:

• Accurately diagnose, service, and repair Toyota and Subaru vehicles
• Document notes and recommendations on the repair order in the computer system
• Inspect vehicles and advise Service Consultant of any areas of concern so customers are informed
• Ensure work is completed accurately and done safely
• Maintain and exceed minimum shop production standards
• Attend all required factory training and obtain all required certifications

QUALIFICATIONS: List the relevant qualifications that are needed to successfully achieve the key outcomes required for the job.  Note any preferred qualifications, if applicable.  An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Education:

• Associates Degree in Auto Technology or equivalent

Work Experience:

• Provided applicant has his/her A.S. Degree in Auto Technology no minimum work experience required
• Auto repair work experience preferred

• Able to safely operate manual and automatic transmission for a variety of vehicle sizes

• Ensure work is completed accurately and done safely
• Maintain and exceed minimum shop production standards
• Attend all required factory training and obtain all required certifications

Requirements:

• Associate of Science Degree in Auto Technology or equivalent work experience
• Valid driver’s license and strong driving record
• Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission for a variety of vehicle sizes
• Must own a basic set of automotive repair tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to secure at least one ASE certification and safety inspection license within 18 months of being hired
• Must be able to work a 4/10 (4 days per week, 10 hours per day) or 5/8 (5 days per week, 8 hours per day) work schedule depending on the shift
• Toyota and Subaru repair experience and Dealertrack experience preferred

Our Technicians are paid a competitive hourly wage and production incentive. They are also compensated for their ASE certifications and receive factory training in our climate controlled Hawaii training facility.
