As a Nurse Extern, you will embark on a transformative journey with the VCU Health team and contribute significantly to patient well-being as well as your continued growth. You will have the opportunity to collaborate under the guidance of a skilled clinical team in both direct and indirect patient care activities.

NOTE: This is a temporary, full-time position of 36 hours a week that will run 10 weeks.

Licensure, Certification, or Registration:

• AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent

Experience:

• REQUIRED: N/A

• PREFERRED: Acute care experience as a patient care technician or equivalent position.

Education/Training:

• Completion of the first semester of the junior year in a BSN program or completion of the first year in an ADN program
