Job Overview:
We’re looking for a Manager, Experiential Operations, Emerging Business to join us at THE·TEAM. The successful candidate is a self-motivated, driven and enthusiastic individual who is looking to make a measurable and positive impact on everything you do. Harnessing and delivering upon the passion of consumer engagement, guest services and activation surrounding best-in-class campaigns within the experiential industry is a critical component of this role.
As a Manager, you will be an integral part of the integrated team, managing the successful delivery of brand activations, camps, clients, events, and client service, from brief to execution.
What You’ll Do :
The successful candidate will have proven sponsorship/experiential related skills within a professional environment, using creative thinking and individual initiative, including the following:
Ownership of large-scale projects to support the day-to-day management of accounts
Manage day-to-day client relationships, establish credibility and anticipate client needs
Support in the strategic development of brand activations that deliver on client requests and objectives, demonstrating critical thinking and creative solutions
Ensure projects are correctly budgeted for and managed throughout, including detailed reconciliations
Develop status documents, project critical paths and enforce deliverable dates
Contribute to a positive, collaborative and teamwork focused environment that aligns with THE·TEAM's company culture, principles and values
Demonstrate sound troubleshooting and creative problem solving skills
Maintain an effective working relationship with key stakeholders to ensure all parties receive appropriate attention, support, and ensures THE·TEAM is in lock-step with objectives
Act as liaison with operators, organizations, partners and properties, while managing a network of vendors to drive the desired experience and results
Conduct pre and post event reports, including key learnings, insights, analysis, implications and recommendations
What We’re Looking For:
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly in Keynote / PowerPoint and Excel
Noted ability to build creative and visually impactful presentations that creatively and coherently articulate the various client briefs, opportunities and potential campaigns
Experience in managing mid-to-large size events that include building out guest services, experiences, and brand activations both individually and with 3rd party operators
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Experience, poise and confidence in presenting to senior level executives
Relevant sponsorship and event operations experience (preferably in the experiential, sports and/or entertainment field)
Proven ability to handle client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables
Laser sharp attention to detail
Entrepreneurial drive, supported by a proactive self starter mentality
Thrive working in a team environment
A passion for sports and entertainment (passion and knowledge for camps will be considered an asset)
An energetic, cooperative and pleasant personality – we want to work with good people!
2+ years relevant experiential &/or sponsorship industry experience
Agency experience would be considered an asset
Base salary range: $65-80K, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.
Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role
