Summary:

Employees are required to perform various pack and assembly operations and unmask painted customer products.

Job Functions:

• Unmask and inspect parts per the Quality Procedure Manual and customer specifications.
• Scrape and touch up parts as needed.
• Use job travelers to determine proper packing materials.
• Wrap or bag parts as directed and pack in boxes or skids.
• Label boxes with customer name, purchase order number, part number, quantity, and name of packer.
• Ensure all paperwork is with the finished product.
• Move materials and perform housekeeping as required.
• Ensure the safety of yourself and others working around you by following Company PPE and Safety/Environmental Policies.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable with tools and machinery.  Understands how machines and tools work and adept at fixing things.
• Experience with light-duty machine tools such as drill press, saws and grinders
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others.
• Ability to follow work instructions.
• Performs jobs in a manner that minimizes hazards to self, others and the environment. Maintains a physical work environment that contributes to the well-being of others. Being aware of conditions or circumstances that affect one’s own safety or the safety of others.
• Demonstrates a high level of dependability in all aspects of the job.

Required Experience:

• 1 year packing or assembly experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Occasionally moves equipment weighing up to 30 pounds. 
• Must be able to Ascend/Descend stairs. 
• Must be able to Sit, Stand, Walk, Climb, Stoop, Kneel.
