JOB DESCRIPTION

The Ingraham Angle is looking for a Booker to join the team in NY or DC.  This position offers a unique opportunity to interact with major newsmakers throughout politics and culture – guests who have propelled this show to be one of the top programs in all of cable with competitive bookings. As the Booker, you are a self-starter who has strong editorial judgment and thorough knowledge of the news of the day.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle daily bookings

• Identify new and unique guests and cultivate relationships

• Pitch stories daily

• Conduct pre-interviews with guests

• Work closely with the show’s producers, talent, and programming team to ensure topical guests are delivered each day

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience

• 1+ years of booking experience

• Natural ability to write effectively and creatively

• Ability to work under intense deadline pressure

• Excellent communicate skills

• Strong editorial judgment and thorough knowledge of the news of the day

• Strong research and reporting skills

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $67,000.00-87,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
