Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university + minimum of 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience
Due to the nature of the duties of this position, this role requires the individual to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance; prerequisite for a security clearance is U.S. citizenship
Desired Characteristics
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on brazing and joining aerospace alloys.
Technical Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of brazing techniques and joining methods for aerospace applications.
Familiarity with aerospace materials, including superalloys and lightweight alloys.
Proficiency in process simulation tools and statistical process control (SPC).
Certifications: NADCAP certification in brazing processes is highly desirable.
Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and tools.
