Key Responsibilities:
Lead the integration of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) that will enable real-time tracking of production output, labor hour allocations, and job status visibility across the plant.
Develop and maintain systems to collect, analyze, and visualize operational data from various departments (production, engineering, planning, etc.).
Partner with operations, engineering, and IT to align digital tools with business needs.
Design and deploy automated dashboards and reports that replace manual data collection.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across connected systems.
Lead digital transformation by analyzing production workflows firsthand to identify high-impact opportunities for digital enhancements that support operational goals.
Partner with Lean Manufacturing team to reduce waste and improve efficiencies through digital solutions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on digital systems, process improvement, or data analytics.
Proven experience implementing MES and ERP integrations
Strong programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, SQL, Power BI, or similar)
Familiarity with databases, APIs, and system connectivity
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
Desired Characteristics:
Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Experience in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge/certification
ETL pipeline experience: Using tools like Apache NiFi, Talend, or custom Python scripts undefined
Experience with BOM structures and variant configuration
