As a Logistics Consultant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting Send Relief’s operations by coordinating project management, fostering ministry relations, and facilitating internal and external logistics. Your work will directly contribute to equipping churches and partners to engage in impactful missions across North America.
About the Role
As a key member of the Operations team, you will help streamline processes, foster partner engagement, and support mobilization efforts within churches and communities. This is a unique opportunity to combine your organizational skills with your passion for missions and ministry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainability processes to nurture external partnerships and church engagement, from initial contact to active mission involvement, collaborating with content, mobilization, and donor relations teams.
- Build bridges for digital resources and follow-up projects to support pathways of individual development.
- Work alongside churches and individuals interested in deeper involvement, including training, financial support, or replication opportunities.
- Assist in administering the replication team’s scheduling, assessments, and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with Send Relief leadership on various initiatives and special projects as needed.
- Accept additional duties assigned by immediate supervisor or leadership to support team needs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent experience (minimum of four years) in related fields such as project management, ministry support, or organizational coordination.
- Demonstrated Christian maturity consistent with 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1, exemplifying personal integrity and active faith.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail, including business correspondence and professional documentation.
- Analytical ability to interpret data, track KPIs, and create reports.
- Sound reasoning skills, able to follow instructions and solve multidimensional challenges with a practical approach.
- Knowledge of SBC structure, Baptist guidelines, and familiarity with NAMB’s strategic priorities preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required by ministry needs.
Physical & Personal Qualities
- Ability to sit, talk, and hear regularly, with occasional standing and walking.
- Capable of light lifting (up to 10 pounds) when needed.
- A warm, energetic personality demonstrating integrity, humility, and a genuine passion for service.
- Active member of a local church, committed to personal growth and Christian service.
- Exhibits positive relationships, good judgment, and a collaborative spirit.
