Provides a range of human resources, training, timekeeping, and administrative support functions across two business locations. Responsibilities include facilitating the recruitment process, maintaining employee records, facilitating onboarding and processing personnel documentation and time corrections, facilitating orientation and training sessions, and performing general administrative duties. This is an individual contributor role that typically reports to the HR Business Partner (HRBP) and has a dotted line reporting relationship to the Unit Administrator.
Education, Licensure, and Experience required for the position include:
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and three years of human resources, training, and administrative functions. Associate's degree in human resources, Business or Psychology preferred.
Physical requirements to perform essential functions of the job included:
Regularly required to lift 10 lbs. Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 lbs. Must be able to pull a minimum of 10 lbs. Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stop. Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Required to regularly stand and walk. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision. Must be able to talk and hear.
Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitate recruitment, orientation and training.
- Screens candidates, coordinate interviews for hiring managers and candidates, communicate next steps to candidates as appropriate.
- Provides information to applicants regarding application process, employment policies, organization, and open positions.
- Instructs applicants on completing employment applications, reviews applications for completeness, and obtains additional information from applicants in preparation for post-offer processing, such as work experience, education, training, skills, and references.
- Verifies and obtains reference and work history information from prior employers, educational organizations, individuals.
- Ensures that all background checks, registry checks and DMV checks are completed within required timeframes and that candidates are eligible for hire based on these checks.
- Maintain updates in Workday Learning to notify Administrator of upcoming and expired training.
- Obtain and maintain CPR and Pro Act trainer certification.
- All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED Required.
- Associate Degree or bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred.
- Two years of Workday experience
- Foundational Human Resources knowledge
- Three years of Human Resources, Training, Timekeeping or related experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must maintain proficiency in company sponsored training and certifications as required.
- Three years' experience with Microsoft Office.
- Travel required between two business locations.

- Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
