 This role located in MODESTO CA, performs routine quality control activities and other tasks as necessary in a laboratory environment. Records observations and measurements and reports results.

Essential Job Functions: 

• Responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining glassware and equipment.
• Assists with receipt and inspection of raw materials May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision.  A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

• This position inspects, promotes, and maintains adherence to food safety cleanliness in the handling of product, ingredients and finished goods using proper work procedures and compliance with Food Safety and Quality Standards as defined by the FDA, SQF, HACCP and GMP Programs.

Qualifications & Experience: 

• High School diploma required.  Associates degree preferred
• Proficient in Office products or equivalent (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Must be 49CFR Certified.
• Proficient in Chempax Module I-III and Intelex (On-Site programs).

The expected salary range for this role is 48,000-51,000, but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.    

This role is also eligible to earn a short-term incentive bonus and the following benefits: 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays and paid sick leave.
