As an Event Audio Visual (AV) Specialist, you will support the planning and execution of events across the company by managing AV technology and ensuring seamless experiences. This role is responsible for configuring, operating, and maintaining AV equipment, supporting presenters, and troubleshooting issues in real time. By delivering reliable technical support for in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, you will help create high-quality experiences that that keep the spotlight on the event – not the tech.
Here’s a snapshot of what you’d be doing:
Set up, operate, and break down AV equipment for company events, including department retreats, leadership meetings, and employee celebrations. Manage sound checks, mic balancing, lighting adjustments, and live presentation support to ensure seamless execution.
Support presenters by managing slide decks, video playback, and other content. Ensure compatibility across devices and platforms, providing real-time troubleshooting to maintain program flow.
Manage virtual and hybrid event elements, including livestreams, recordings, and platform integrations (e.g., Webex, Teams). Capture and edit audio/video as needed, coordinating with communications teams to distribute recordings or highlights.
Maintain AV equipment by testing, servicing, and organizing gear. Track inventory, ensure readiness, and provide recommendations for upgrades or replacements.
Actively contribute to making the team and culture stronger by assisting with other duties as needed, excluding licensed activity.

5+ years of experience in AV or Live Production in events or corporate setting
Familiarity with sound boards, wireless microphones, projectors, and recording equipment
Ability to travel
Available to work outside normal business hours and/or on weekends
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Proficient in basic computer technologies, appropriate for an internet-based company
Regular and predictable attendance
Valid driver’s license and responsible driving history
Accessibility to regular transportation
