ABOUT US
The Salvation Army is a Christian movement and one of Australia's largest and most-loved charities. We believe in doing good that transforms lives and futures for the better. It is this belief which drives us to find new ways and places where we can make a difference. From times of personal crisis to moments of national grief, we are always here — providing support, safety, community, and opportunity.
Why this role matters
The Salvation Army Youth Services walk alongside young people across Australia as they navigate some of life’s toughest moments. Our programs create safe, intentional spaces where young people can find hope, build community, and shape their futures. From housing and education to AOD support, therapeutic programs and youth justice initiatives, we’re committed to empowering young people to thrive.

You will also help strengthen the community around them by building meaningful partnerships and expanding our reach where it is needed most. This is a 12‑month contract with the potential to extend, and we’re ready for someone to start immediately.
