Work Flexibility: Onsite

Location: 4870 West 2100 South, Salt Lake City, UT

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible)

Summary:
The Associate R&D Technician provides technical support to engineers and scientists on a variety of technical tasks, and develops and recommends procedures and methods as well as prepares technical reports and documentation. Additionally, in this role, you will perform technical evaluations of events to determine root cause and recommend corrective action.

What You Will Do:

  • Assemble prototypes and products according to engineering design plans
  • Execute testing on prototypes per engineering instructions and accurately document results
  • Ensure all testing follows current validated methods, processes, specifications, and is documented in compliance with GLP & QS requirements
  • Support engineering teams by coordinating and obtaining necessary supplies and services
  • Communicate project progress and assignment status to project engineers
  • Train team members on new product processes, procedures, and best practices
  • Maintain strict adherence to all quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Build quality into all aspects of work through accuracy, attention to detail, and compliance with established processes

What You Need:

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of technical work experience in medical device development
  • Hands-on experience operating automated equipment or robotic systems
  • Two-year Technical Degree (i.e., AA, Certificate) or equivalent experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Travel Percentage: 10%
