The Call Center Agent answers inbound calls to RHA Health Service’s central call center, is trained to answer general inquiries, handle dispatch of clinical calls, and routes calls and tickets to agents in RHA offices within multiple states. This position collaborates with other internal and external Call Center Agent(s) in the Atlanta corporate office and regional agents in performing their duties to successfully support RHA external communication and provide a friendly and helpful experience for our customers, partners, and outside agencies.

Education and Experience required for the position include: High school diploma or equivalent. 2-3 years related experience. Experience with email, word processing, spreadsheets. Knowledge of Zendesk or customer service ticketing system a plus.

RHA Health Services is looking for motivated, customer service-oriented person with the ability to multitask to join our team as a Call Center Agent. This position reports to Information Technology management and works closely with RHA Solutions Center. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for:

  • Manages incoming calls for the RHA central call center.
  • Operates ticketing system to route calls, close tickets, and directs callers to appropriate personnel.
  • Assisting with questions from external callers.
  • Meet customer service team call handing goals.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
  • Go the extra mile to engage callers and provide excellent customer service as a positive representative of RHA Health Services.
  • Provide excellent customer service and professional telephone and email etiquette.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the department.

Education and Experience:

Successful candidates of the Call Center Agent role are able to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and handle varied personalities from callers. The ideal candidate for this position is highly motivated, friendly, helpful, polite, and they possess the ability to communicate in a professional manner over the phone. Additional requirements include:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prefer 2-3 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Proficiency with email and computer software for word processing, spreadsheets.
  • Ability to listen with strong customer service skills.
  • Zendesk or other customer service ticketing system experience a plus.
