Barrington Lodge is a 77 bed Aged Care Centre. Built in 1850, the lodge is rich in history and provides a cosy, comfortable home with mountain and park views. The centre is conveniently located with access to public transport and is only 2 minutes’ drive to the New Town Plaza and local services.
We are seeking Casual Registered Nurses for night shifts (11:00PM – 7:15AM) who will provide clinical leadership in the delivery of individualised care to residents. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring continuity of care overnight, supporting residents’ health, safety, comfort, and spiritual well-being.
You will work autonomously while remaining connected to the broader care team, responding to clinical needs, overseeing care delivery, and maintaining a calm and supportive environment throughout the night.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In the role of Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical supervision and be responsible for coordinating the delivery of safe, effective and individualised care to our care recipients and their families (including managing staff and physical resources) and assisting residents to lead an active and meaningful life as independently as possible in keeping with The Salvation Army's Mission, Vision and Values.
