Job Description:

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Licensure/Certification:

• Current California Registered Nursing (RN) license required 

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification strongly preferred within 6 months of hire

• Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) strongly preferred within 2 years of hire

• Trauma Nursing Core Courses (TNCC) required within 1 year of hire

Knowledge:

• 2 years RN experience required.

• ER experience preferred.

• Per Diem status positions, 2+ years Emergency department experience is strongly preferred.

Skills:

·Has the physical and mental health sufficient to accomplish the duties of a RN and is able to meet the pharmacology requirements of Marshall Medical Center.

·Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment.

·Ability to work effectively under pressure and multitask in a dynamic environment.

·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·Familiarity with EPIC.

·Must have basic computer skills.
