As the Warehouse Worker, you will transports material, including raw materials, components, packaging materials, finished goods and/or scrap, to/from production floor.

Job Description

We are looking for a Warehouse Worker. This position will be a full-time contract and on-site in Fairview, North Carolina. This is a 1st Shift position Monday-Friday 7:00 am EST to 3:30 pm EST.

This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.


What You'll Do

  • Assesses material needs and develops forecasts for assigned production area at the beginning of the shift and orders materials to support the production schedule
  • Transports materials, including raw materials, components, packaging materials, finished goods and/or scrap, to/from production floor
  • Completes required paperwork to accompany outgoing materials such as intercompany bills- of-lading
  • Prepares outgoing materials using a variety of methods including, scanning, labeling, wrapping
  • Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items
  • Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift or pallet jack
  • Posts weights and shipping charges

What You'll Need 

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required to perform essential job functions including reading various signage throughout the facility, comprehensive understanding of various documentation, understanding and communicating processes to ensure workplace safety and job efficiency

 

Physical Demands 

  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, use hands for fine motor tasks such as handling or feeling objects, reach with arms and hands, and communicate effectively through speech and hearing

  • The role also requires the ability to handle small components under a microscope for prolonged durations

  • Regular physical demands include lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds routinely, up to 25 pounds frequently, and occasionally up to 50 pounds

  • Safety shoes are required

17.61 per hour

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will include medical coverage as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
