Montgomery College accepts applications for Adjunct/Part-time Faculty on a continuous basis. Applications may be reviewed periodically based on the student enrollment needs. The listing of a course in the schedule of classes as “TBA” does not constitute an assignment. The hiring decision for part-time faculty involves an academic judgment and shall be determined at Management’s sole discretion.
The Montgomery College, Adult ESOL & Basic Skills for College and Careers Program, is currently accepting applications for possible openings as a part-time faculty member teaching in-person ServSafe Manager and ServSafe Food Handler certification classes in an educational setting located within a maximum-security correctional facility and detention center.
This particular teaching opportunity is part-time and is located at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in Boyds, MD and the Montgomery County Detention Center in Rockville, MD. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher who exhibits a high degree of professionalism, a strong commitment to our students, and demonstrates the ability to motivate and educate in an engaging manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university or college in one of the subjects below or the equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and/or experience that provides the required knowledge and expertise to perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
