Job Description

We are looking for a Project Manager to provide project management and competitive grants support for federal and state charter programs. This position will be part-time contract and hybrid.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage competitive grant cycles (CSP, SFIG, and others) from planning to award, including coordinating timelines, application reviews, communication, and documentation

  • Develop and maintain project management systems and tools to streamline communication, scheduling, and task tracking within the Charter Team

  • Support compliance and reporting for CSP and SFIG subgrantees, ensuring monitoring requirements are met and documentation aligns with state and federal guidelines

  • Prepare high-quality materials such as presentations, reports, memos, and summaries for internal and external audiences

  • Codify systems and processes into repeatable frameworks or playbooks to improve team efficiency and consistency

  • Assist with data collection and analysis to track progress toward grant and program goals

  • Coordinate with fiscal, procurement, and legal teams to ensure grant implementation and expenditures comply with applicable policies

  • Provide responsive, flexible support during high-volume periods, including deadlines tied to application releases, subgrantee selection, and annual reporting

  • Attend meetings, events, or site visits as needed to support ongoing project work and stakeholder engagement

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Business or project management experience

  • Contract management experience

  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team

Preferred:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office or attend meetings

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will include 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
