A DAY IN THE LIFE
The QA Associate II supports the Quality Assurance Manager and laboratory management in maintaining compliance with regulatory and client standards. This role is responsible for reviewing quality control data, managing training and equipment records, coordinating audits, reviewing post production data, and assisting with laboratory accreditation compliance.
This position is responsible for quality assurance functions, independent of production and financial responsibility. The QA Associate II works closely with the Quality Assurance Manager, Group Leaders, and and other managers to monitor day-to-day operations and help ensure compliance to the laboratory’s Quality Assurance Program.
Applicants will be passionate about providing high-quality results to laboratory clients while working with operations to develop operational efficiencies and maintain safe working conditions.
This position is in-person. Remote work is not available for this position
Schedule: Monday - Friday - Lab operating hours
Reporting to the QA Manager, this role supports the Denver, CO team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:
· Support proficiency testing and corrective action resolution
· Review and update SOPs and other laboratory documentation
· Maintain calibration and maintenance records for support equipment
· Review bench records and logbooks for accuracy
· Manage and track personnel training documentation
· Assist in the develop and provide QA/QC training to laboratory staff
· Identify and document nonconformances and monitor corrective actions
· Analyze and interpret quality control data and trends
· Plan and perform internal audits and assessments
· Assist with external audit preparation and documentation
· Report performance metrics to management
· Archive quality-related data per SOPs
· Comply with Enthalpy’s Quality Assurance Program and other policies
· Comply with Enthalpy’s Health and Safety Plan
