Responsible for inventory control, fulfillment logistics (supplies and equipment), resource staffing, and equipment validation for a clinical supply chain. Utilizes a ‘One Team’ approach to better the lives of others by working with a group that provides remote clinical research to study participants. This position manages the local logistics team, while overseeing daily tasks such as ordering/fulfilling supplies, equipment deliveries and managing supply vendors. Fulfillment and inventory management is specific to locally assigned US or EU (Global) location. The Logistics Manager uses a Salesforce platform to fulfill the requests of team members across multiple departments and locations.

    

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or 5 years equivalent within the supply chain industry
  • Minimum 2 years in a similar role
  • Minimum 2 years management experience
  • Salesforce or other enterprise inventory management software experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work on-site

Essential Functions/Areas of Accountability:

  • Manage the assigned local logistics team.
  • Manages assigned local warehouse to optimize timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Works with Corporate Purchasing and Project Managers on the ordering of special equipment and new products.
  • Solves problems involving staff shortages, route changes, and loading equipment.
  • Clinical supply fulfillment for a matrixed team of Clinical Project Managers and Clinical Project Coordinators on multiple projects. 
  • Responsible for researching new options for new supplies and equipment.
  • Operational Ownership of clinical supply vendors by providing quality service and continuous contact. Provide data entry and compliance oversight to our inventory system and databases.
  • Participate in company meetings and provide continual feedback for process improvement.
  • Validate research equipment such as centrifuges.
  • Stock, maintain, ship and track supplies for ongoing studies.
  • Manage and maintain operational KPIs through reporting and collaboration with internal partners.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.

   

The typical base pay range for this role is USD $87,800 - $131,300 per year.

Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, skills and other market-based factors.
