Job Description

Application Engineer has responsibility for:

• Learning Customer needs, defining the right solution with the best value proposition to win new business while working closely with Dealer, Marketing and Sales teams.
• Provide Dealers with timely and accurate SPED quotations
• Assist Dealer in responding to RFQs
• Identify product and service gaps based on dealer feedback
• Market / promote SPED solutions to the dealer community
• Identify and recommend product improvements to meet local requirements
• Deliver an understanding of design intent, features, advantages and benefits

Roles & Responsibilities

• Up-to-date product knowledge is a key for this role.
• Engineering Degree (University level) or similar. Engineering degree – mechanical preferred
• 1-4 years’ Experience in the forklift industry with dealers and customers. Understanding how the international forklift market operates, especially about customer demands.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
• Good presentation and excel skill.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills at all levels of business.
