This position is Monday through Friday 8am - 430pm - no weekends or holidays
Responsible for pre-registering & updating information within the patient’s electronic medical record, to be accomplished during phone interview with the patient. Perform a variety of administrative tasks to ensure that patient demographic, financial and mandated information is accurate based on available information.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Excellent guest relations and telephone demeanor
- High degree of professionalism with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize pre-admission calling of scheduled appointments
- Excellent computer skills and general office aptitude
- Excellent quality in collecting and inputting data
Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
- Minimum one year of hospital or physician office experience
- Minimum one year of computer/data entry experience
- Familiarity with medical terminology
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
License/Certification: N/A
