The Marketing Manager plays a critical role in our organization helping with customer acquisition, retention, and expansion goals through the development of content, creative, campaigns, communications, paid media, and go-to-market strategies. This is a role requiring strong partnership and collaboration with another Marketing Manager I to support our Consumer line of business. The Marketing Manager is a creative, high capacity, organized experienced marketer with strong skills in traditional and digital marketing functions. This individual has direct experience in development of marketing creative, media buying and placement, campaign creation and execution as well as the management of brand assets. The Marketing Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that First Financial promotion/advertising, across all channels and mediums, is on point, consistent with all brand standards and aligned with key organizational goals. The Marketing Manager will provide oversight and serve as a critical point in projects and campaigns that transcend departmental boundaries with a focus on results, maintains productive internal relationships with key line of business, product, and marketing departmental contacts at all levels of the organization, provides advanced marketing solutions to address any business gaps and/or opportunities in the market by actively reviewing industry climates and trends, actively collaborates with key stakeholders to maximize brand, advertising, media, events, projects, and campaigns.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Leads strategic marketing campaign creation and implementation for identified lines of business or identified company objectives. The role supports product campaigns and/or launches, development of sales collateral across all channels, media planning and creative development, and thought leadership.
  • Uses research, data, analysis interpretation, current marketing and competitive positioning to develop strategic positioning and key messages
  • Responsible for leading, driving and executing the above various marketing projects using internal and external resources (agencies, freelancers, etc.)
  • Works with media and paid search agency on overarching media plans
  • Searches for continuous improvement opportunities. Challenges team to re-think or re-imagine with the big picture results in mind.
  • Responsible for keeping the client in the center of all initiatives, serves as the voice of the client to the marketing team and business partners

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in Marketing leading marketing creative, campaigns and strategic marketing plans to achieve key organizational goals. Financial industry experience a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with project and campaign management expertise and the ability to manage projects of all sizes.
  • Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to build positive business relationships and partnerships while maintain a customer service focus (both internal & external) .
  • Adaptable and comfortable with changing business demands. Takes initiative to work through ambiguity and effectively problem-solve.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience with Marketing Cloud, Sales CRM and Adobe Experience CMS platform
  • Experience with a managed industry
  • Basic knowledge around SEO/SEM strategy and implementation
  • Basic graphic designStrong strategic thinker with market and industry knowledge (financial services and card experience a plus)
  • Hands-on development of campaigns and projects from briefing and kick-offs through execution and results analysis
  • Previous experience with media planning and development across a variety of channels – paid and organic
  • Demonstrated understanding of sales enablement strategies and their articulation for both internal associates to external channels inclusive of web and email. Basic graphic design.

  • Must be able to navigate a typical office environment.

The associate is responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed on First Financial Bank by State and Federal law and regulation, as well as all related First Financial Bank policies and procedures. This includes all Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC and Suspicious Activity reporting requirements, as well as all other lending and deposit compliance requirements.

Development and Training

Pay Range:

  • $74,000.00/year - $98,000.00/year
