Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Provide clients with expert advise on retirement plan options and strategies.
Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships within local markets.
Assist clients in understanding regulatory changes and how they impact their retirement plans.
Serve as the main liaison between the bank and its retirement plan clients.
Ensure the efficient administration of retirement plans in accordance with client requirements and regulatory standards.
Identify opportunities to expand relationship with existing clients and acquire new business.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in relationship management within the financial services industry, with focus on retirement plans
In-depth knowledge of retirement plan products, regulations, and industry trends
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in using CRM software and other financial tools
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
CFP or CRPS certification
Level of Complexity and Scope
Managing moderately complex client relationship and making decisions the impact client satisfactions and retention.
Degree of Independence and Decision-Making
Works independently to develop strategies for improving client engagement and identifying opportunities for business growth.
Required Supervisory Responsibilities
No direct supervisory responsibilities, but will lead project teams and coordinate with internal departments to achieve client objectives
Physical Requirements
Normal working office environment
Long periods of sitting at desk
Ability to multitask including phone calls and computer input simultaneously.
Communication with external clients required.
Compliance Statement
The associate is responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed on First Financial Bank by State and Federal law and regulation, as well as all related First Financial Bank policies and procedures. This includes all Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC and Suspicious Activity reporting requirements, as well as all other lending and deposit compliance requirements.
Development and Training
Pay Range
$107,000/year to $142,760/year
