Within a high volume setting, provides support functions to the clinical and administrative staff; ensures attention to detail and aids in the completion of patient charging, abstracting, and insurance referrals.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

  • One to three years previous experience as a Administrative Assistant in a physician's practice or Clinic environment
  • Command of verbal and written English; positive interpersonal communication skills and good organizational skills.
  • Understanding of referral process.
  • Knowledge of physician appointments and schedule management.

               

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Computer skills

Educational Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

License/Certification: N/A

Must be able and available to float to other practice locations as needed with reimbursement for mileage.

Salary Range:$18.71-$28.26
