Drive process cycle time reduction and process improvements beyond monthly time horizon
Scope and develop projects to support strategic and transformational improvement including new production assets
Evaluate processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement to drive product cost improvements
Participate in design reviews, product and process FMEA's to aid in the design of new equipment and upgrade existing equipment.
Develop value stream business unit relationships as assigned by value stream leader
Implement large and/or complex scope MOC’s as assigned · Mentor and develop process engineers
Coordinate with Technology to execute NPI’s and product translations · Create additional capacity by bringing new assets online
The following are required for the role
B.S. Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline; equivalent education and relevant experience will also be considered.
At least 10 years of related industry experience
Proficiency with process chemical design (material balances, P&IDs, PFDs, equipment sizing and arrangements)
Strong computer skills, including MS Office, SAP, Minitab
Demonstrated knowledge of continuous and batch chemical processes
Communication skills: ability to communicate effectively across levels of the organization
Ability to act in a safe and environmentally responsible manner

Proven problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment
Strong sense of accountability, urgency and independence
Good communication & presentation skills
The following are preferred for the role
Technical knowledge in industrial equipment and chemical products
Project Management
Six-Sigma Black Belt, Lean Manufacturing, 5S experience
Process Safety Management
Automation and digitization skill set
Knowledge of instrumentation. (DCS, PHA, LOPA experience)
