Role Overview:

The Junior IT Project Manager is a junior-level role designed for early-career professionals eager to develop their IT project management skills. IT Project Managers support senior project managers and cross-functional teams in planning, executing, and delivering IT projects on time and within budget.

A Sample of What You'll Do in this Role:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of IT projects under the guidance of senior project managers.

  • Support project documentation, including project plans, schedules, meeting notes, and status reports.

  • Track project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document action items and decisions.

  • Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

  • Help manage project budgets, resources, and timelines.

  • Assist in quality assurance and testing activities as needed.

  • Maintain organized records of project artifacts and documentation.

What You Bring to this Role:

  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, IT, or related role

  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello) is preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Compensation and Benefits: 

  • In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $80,200 - $106,880. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience.   

  • This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k).
